With multiple reports surfacing this week that the Buffalo Sabres and 20-year-old superstar in the making Jack Eichel are nearing an agreement on a new eight year contract, what better time than now to review all 24 goals from Eichel’s 2016-17 season?

The one thing that’s clear from this highlight reel? Eichel can beat you in so many ways. He’s equally adept at scoring off the rush, on the power play or by scooping up the garbage goals from in front of the net. The big man has an incredible skating stride and has the unique ability to separate himself from defenders before unleashing his wickedly hard and accurate wrist shot.
