Must see: Andreas Athanasiou scores a beautiful breakaway goal!

Detroit Red Wings forward Andreas Athanasiou scored a beauty of a goal against the Colorado Avalanche on Sunday night. He was sent on a breakaway, thanks to a pass from Tomas Tatar.

Athanasiou, 23, was drafted 110th overall by the Red Wings in 2012. Before tonight's game, he had seven points in 11 games played. In 112 games played at the NHL level, the London, Ontario native registered 50 points.

The Red Wings eventually lost that game 4-3 on overtime.
