What do back-to-back Stanley Cups mean for former Pittsburgh Penguin and now Nashville Predators forward Nick Bonino? Back-to-back opportunities to help those in need. After raising nearly $6000 for the Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Bonino’s hometown of Hartford, CT last offseason, the 29-year-old is hoping to raise $30,000 this time around when he gets his day with the Cup.
Check out this statement released by Bonino on social media earlier today:
Awesome. Great work, Bones! You’re a true class act! While Penguins fans may miss you and your clutch play in Pittsburgh, Predators fans are sure to fall in love with you next season!
