Connor McDavid is already dominating.
Connor McDavid is expected to be the next incarnation of Buddha in the NHL, and if the actual pre-pre-season is any indication of what will come next, he could very well be just that.
McDavid and fellow Oilers prospect Leon Draisaitl's talents were on full display on Wednesday against the University of Alberta Golden Bears. The Oilers group of rookies beat the CIS team 6-3 and McDavid was a big part of the victory, registering three assists.
One of #97's best moment came when he served a perfect no-look pass to teammate Alexis Loiseau who completed the play. Sure, this isn't an NHL-level game, but the skillset McDavid shows on this play is simply amazing.
McDavid also served another perfect dish, this time to Cole Sanford, on a beautiful two on zero.
