Nicholle Anderson has become the ambassador of Hockey Fights Cancer and the Ottawa Senators published on Saturday morning a heart-warming video of Nicholle and her husband, goalie Craig Anderson, spending the day with 10-year-old Ryan Mercer.
The young boy has barely battled cancer for the past year and a half. He had to quit school and stop playing hockey as he received treatments to cure this awful disease.
He was offered the wonderful opportunity to jump on the ice and skate for the first time in 18 months. He even scored a few goals on Anderson.
Unbelievable story and great initiate by Hockey Fights Cancer.
