In his team defeat loss to the Winnipeg Jets, San Jose Sharks' forward Joe Pavelski received a 2 minute penalty for an illegal check to the head of Jets' forward Bryan Little.

Mainly known in the NHL for his laser shot and his accuracy, Pavelski played the hammer on Little with a borderline hit.

The Jets' player went to the dressing room briefly and return to the game.
