Must See: Laine’s reaction to the Little contract is priceless

Winnipeg Jets sniper Patrik Laine is a big fan of veteran center Bryan Little. The pair played together regularly during the 2016-17 season (when Little was healthy) and produced at a decent clip. With news that Little signed a brand new six year, $30+ million deal earlier this afternoon, Laine should be ecstatic, right? Well… he would be if he knew about it.

TSN reporters broke the story to Laine during a media scrum following practice in Winnipeg this morning and the young Finn’s expression was priceless. Check it out:

Priceless. How perfect is that? One can only imagine that Laine is envisioning all the dinner cheques that Little will be picking up from now on. Although… something tells us that Laine will be just fine when it comes time for him to negotiate a new deal.
