Prior to last night’s game against the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Toronto Maple Leafs paid tribute to legendary Leafs goaltender Johnny Bower who passed away peacefully on Boxing Day at age 93.

The touching ceremony featured Bower’s wife, children and grandchildren on hand for a remarkable tribute. Check it out:

Remarkable. Over his 10 year career with the Leafs Bower would win four Stanley Cups and two Vezina Trophies. He was one of the most beloved players in Leafs history and it’s no secret why. The affable goaltender always had a smile on his face and time for Leafs fans… he was proud of both his team and his city. His memory will live on forever. Johnny Bower - Always a Maple Leaf.
