MUST SEE: Logo unveiled for the 2016 Winter Classic!

Habs and Bruins unveiled logo for the January 1st classic.

Today, the NHL have held a press conference at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro. The logos for the Winter Classic have been revealed.The Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens will wear jerseys sporting logos from the 1920's. It was also announced that an alumni game will be held on Dec. 31st between Habs and B's legends.


This game will be great for the NHL, showcasing two of its oldest team in what has been the best rivalry in all of sports.

Here are some fantastic stats regarding those two teams:

The Bruins and Canadiens have faced off 729 times during the regular season, tied for the most head-to-head meetings by any two teams in NHL history (Chicago-Detroit). Their 177 head-to-head playoff games and 34 postseason series also are the most in League history, while their nine head-to-head Game 7s lead all teams in North American major professional sports (includes MLB, NBA and NHL).
