Must see: NHL star player gets publicly scolded by referee

Referee Wes McCauley is certainly the most entertaining official in the National Hockey League, but he now has competition. Last night in the preseason game between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Colorado Avalanche, referee Reid Anderson made NHL fans burst out laughing.

Forward Nathan MacKinnon received two minutes in the penalty to box for holding. He was happy about it and took his time to head to the box, and referee Reid Anderson had a simple response to his action: “Get in there!”

MacKinnon finally had to smile about the whole thing, as we are sure you will too.
