There have been short players in the National Hockey League: Brian Gianta, David Desharnais and Martin St. Louis, but the shortest has to be Nathan Gerbe. Standing at 5 foot 4, Gerbe is known to be the shortest, and now plays for Servette HC in the Swiss-A League.

On Thursday, a brawl took place on the ice between Servette HC players and Lausanne HC. Once the fight was over, Gerbe still had more in store and attacked netminder Cristobal Huet. The goalie did not hesitate and the two players threw heavy punches.

The size difference is quite impressive and the crowd surely liked the entertaining incident.
