Who can forget the 2012-13 NHL lockout season when pictures surfaced of Dustin Byfuglien looking scarily out of shape.

The positive for Winnipeg Jets fans is the gritty blueliner appears to be in the best shape of his life entering the 2017-18 campaign.

While he certainly wasn't out of shape last season, he reportedly dropped 20 pounds this summer and looks completely rejuvenated.

The 6'5" Byfuglien has put up back-to-back 50-plus point seasons and could be in for one of the best years of his career in 2017-18.
