MUST SEE: Stars goaltender Jake Oettinger with the save of the postseason!
Absolute highway robbery!
Let's be honest - not many people were giving the Dallas Stars a chance in these playoffs, especially since their reward for barely sneaking into the postseason by the skin of their teeth was a 1st round matchup against the Pacific Division champion Calgary Flames.
But through three games, they're showing why games are won on the ice, not on paper. And they have young goaltender Jake Oettinger to thank for it.
The 23-year-old Minnesota native has been turning heads in the past week, helping the Stars grab a 2-1 series lead over the Flames after stopping 93 of the 96 Flames shots he's faced, including a shutout in front of the C of Red in Calgary in Game 2.
And tonight in Game 4 at a rocking American Airlines Center in downtown Dallas, he made arguably the top save of the playoffs, robbing Flames forward Tyler Toffoli with a ridiculous glove save:
The Stars and Flames are scoreless through one period.
