The newest member of the New York Rangers happens to be Russian sniper Vladimir Tarasenko, and he's already endeared himself to his new teammates and city with a debut that you couldn't have scripted any better.
To start with, he got an incredibly warm reception from the crowd at Madison Square Garden as he was introduced for the first time:
Soon after the opening puck was dropped, he buried a centering feed from Russian teammate Artemi Panarin past Seattle Kraken goaltender Martin Jones not even five minutes into his first game as a Blueshirt:
