Nash unleashes vicious headshot on Hischier

Saturday night, Rick Nash brought the elbow up on New Jersey Devils 2017 1st overall pick Nico Hischier - and while the kid got up, he definitely looked dazed after the hit. 

Nash was assessed a 2 minute elbowing penalty, and Hischier was able to finish the game.

That being said, these are the kinds of hits we don't want to see in the NHL - they've put players' careers in peril, caused devastating concussions, and been the subject of controversy for years now.

Despite Hischier ending up okay, should the NHL set an example of Nash to help stop these hits from happening?
