Another move, another shot:

Nathan Beaulieu is getting ready for another move. The veteran blue liner has just agreed to a professional tryout contract with the Anaheim Ducks.
Beaulieu’s name had been floating out there in the free agency market for the past weeks, especially in links with teams looking to bolster their depth on the back end.
Last season, Beaulieu took part in 24 games for the Winnipeg Jets in 2021-22 and recorded 4 assists in those contests. At the trade deadline, he was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins, for a seventh round pick, but never suited up for his new team.
Beaulieu can bring the size and grit needed in Anaheim: at 6-2′, 201 lbs which he couples with 419 career games in the big leagues.
This is another shot at a career that has not turned out as expected for the first round pick of the Montreal Canadiens back in 2011.
Let’s see how he does in California.
