Short handed to boot!!
Artem Anisimov decided he was going to score a special goal for his first goal as a Blackhawk.
He scored the first ever goal at the Islanders new home rink, the Barclays Center. On top of that, the goal was a short handed goal. He intercepted the puck on a terrible pass from Brock Nelson, went in alone against Thomas Greiss and roofed a beautiful backhand over the glove of Greiss. His teammates were pretty happy for him as well.
Not a bad way to score your first goal with your new team!
