Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Gustav Forsling was injured during last night's 3-2 loss to the Calgary Flames in shootouts.
He was not able to come back to the ice for the third period and it was announced afterwards that he would be "day to day" by coach Q.
It seems that Forsling has suffered a upper body injury but no details on what happened and how it will affect his presence during practice this week.
It has been announced by coach Joel Quenneville that the rookie defenseman is looking questionable for this Friday's game versus the New Jersey Devils.
We will have to wait until tomorrow too see if Forsling will be joining his teammates on the ice for practice in order to receive a more detailed assessment.
Until then keep your fingers crossed for Gustav Forsling and the Chicago Blackhawks and they prepare this week in anticipation of Friday night's match versus the New Jersey Devils.
