The province of Quebec has been absolutely reeling following the untimely deaths of two legends in Guy Lafleur and Mike Bossy in recent weeks.

But here's the thing... when you're talking about legends like Bossy and Lafleur, their legacy extends well beyond provincial borders. Indeed both Bossy and Lafleur influenced hockey fans from across the globe and one New York hockey fan is showing us all just what Lafleur meant to people outside of his home province.

One Lafleur fan drove 7 hours from his New York City home to pay respects to his hero.

Check it out:

How great is that?!

This guy had not one, not two, but THREE teams in the New York Metropolitan area to cheer for... but Guy Lafleur and the high flying Montreal Canadiens laid claim to his heart.
