NHL announces full schedule for Round 2 of the Stanley Cup playoffs.

The full schedule for Round 2 has been released after last night's thrilling Game 7.

The first round of the 2025 Stanley Cup playoffs was truly fantastic. We were treated to some highly competitive series, with really only the Florida Panthers and Carolina Hurricanes stomping their first round opponents, and those competitive series included two Game 7s that will live on for a very long time in the minds of hockey fans around the world.

Naturally with all of the hype coming out of the first round fans are extremely excited to see Round 2 of the Stanley Cup playoffs get underway and the good news is they won't have to wait very long at all. Following the conclusion of Game 7 between the Winnipeg Jets and St. Louis Blues on Sunday night, the National Hockey League released the full schedule for the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Half the teams that were in the tournament have been eliminated and we are now down to just 8 teams and 4 playoff series as we approach the Conference Finals.

Here is the start time for Game 1 of each series that will be featured in the second round, in chronological order:

Florida Panthers @ Toronto Maple Leafs Game 1, Monday May 5th 8:00 pm EST.

Carolina Hurricanes @ Washington Capitals Game 1, May 6th 7:00 pm EST.

Edmonton Oilers @ Vegas Golden Knights Game 1, May 6th 9:30 PM EST.

Dallas Stars @ Winnipeg Jets Game 1, May 7th 9:30 pm EST.

The NHL has also released the dates and start times for the first 4 games of each series which you can see in the schedule below. Should any additional games be required in those series, a time and date will be set for those games at a later date.
