He's paying a steep price.

The Dallas Stars have no choice but to win four straight games if they want their season to continue after having dropped the first three games of their Western Conference Final series against the Vegas Golden Knights.
And they'll have to start things off with tomorrow night's Game 4 without the services of captain Jamie Benn. Earlier this afternoon, the NHL Department of Player Safety announced that Benn has been suspended for the next two games thanks to his vicious cross-check to Golden Knights captain Mark Stone early in the 1st period of last night's Game 3. Benn was assessed a five-minute major penalty and a game misconduct.
Through the first 16 postseason games, Benn had scored three goals with 11 total points.
