NHL captain rumored to be on the trading block.

It sounds like one National Hockey League franchise is looking to trade their captain.

According to a report from Nichols on Hockey, TSN insider Frank Seravalli stated during a radio interview that Colorado Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog would make his debut on TSN's trade bait list today.

There have been rumors that the Avalanche are looking for a major culture change, and as a result players like Matt Duchene, Tyson Barrie, and now Landeskog have all been rumored in trades. Dealing your captain would certainly be way to send a strong message while attempting to create that aforementioned culture change.

No word yet on who could be interested in the forward.
