The NHL has announced that the 2023 NHL Entry Draft and the 2023 NHL Awards Show will be heading to Nashville next summer!

The Nashville Predators last hosted the Draft 20 years ago in 2003. And what a Draft it was...

That 2003 Draft featured future NHL stars like Marc Andre Fleury (1st overall), Eric Staal (2nd overall), Ryan Suter (7th overall), Dion Phaneuf (9th overall), Jeff Carter (11th overall), Brent Seabrook (14th overall), Zach Parise (17th overall), Ryan Getzlaf (19th overall), Brent Burns (20th overall), Ryan Kesler (23rd overall), Mike Richards (24th overall) and Corey Perry (28th overall)... and that's just the 1st round. Many consider the 2003 Draft to be the best in history and the 2023 Draft is poised to be a good one, as well. Superstars in the making Connor Bedard and Matvei Michkov lead the pack and both project to be big time impact players at the NHL level.

If nothing else, Nashville should provide Draft attendees with a fun party city to enjoy over Draft weekend.

As for the Awards Show, Nashville has a reputation for putting on a good show, so I suspect that the event will be well attended.
