NHL enforcer accused of wishing death on player after injuring him.

New York Rangers forward Jimmy Vesey suffered a brutal injury on Saturday when his Rangers faced off against the Edmonton Oilers, take the skate of Oilers enforcer Zack Kassian to the face, and losing two teeth in the process.

While the injury to Vesey was quite clearly an accident it appears that didn't stop Kassian from getting in some brutal trash talk at the expense of young and obviously injured Ranger.

'I hope you fucking bleed out,' said Kassian as per Bartstool Sports.

Wishing death on your adversary is pretty hardcore, although we must admit that we highly doubt that Kassian genuinely was hoping for Vesey to die. It's far more likely that the veteran enforcer was saying the worst thing he could think of in an attempt to rattle Vesey and the other Rangers in ear shot of his comments, if he did in fact make them.

But Kassian has always been a rather unique personality in the National Hockey League and it's not hard to imagine him genuinely saying something that crazy.
