NHL GM to complete “ “thorough evaluation” and announce future plans later this month.

One National Hockey League general manager has hinted that there may be major changes coming in the very near future.

Washington Capitals insider Isabelle Khurshudyan is now reporting that Capitals' general manager Brian MacLellan will not be addressing the media until he has completed a "thorough evaluation" of his team.

It's strange behavior from an National Hockey League general manager, and it's the kind of behavior that may indicate MacLellan feels there are some big changes on the horizon for the Capitals.

According to Khurshudyan MacLellan will speak to the media at some point later this month  but there has been no definitive date set for when that will take place.

The Capitals are coming off another disappointing playoff run, and yet another one that ended on a loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins, and pundits have speculated since that loss that something drastic may have to change in Washington.
