Not the best way to start the new season...
Netminder Robin Lehner signs a one-year contract extension, worth $4 million in July, but the goalie himself is not thrilled about it. The Buffalo Sabres goaltender admitted on Thurday at training camp, that he only agreed to the deal to please his agents.
Sabres Reporter for WGR Sports Radio 550 Paul Hamilton discussed with Lehner that day and got a surprising answer on his new contract.
Wow. Lehner also complained about the long summer, and hopefully for him, the Sabres will become a contender, not only for a shorter offseason, but also to make him happy that he did sign with the team.
