According to a report from NHL insider Chris Johnston, Toronto Maple Leafs captain Auston Matthews has left the team and has travelled to Munich, Germany to see a medical specialist.
Check it out:
"More as a general check-up but also to get some work done on his thing," said Leafs GM Brad Treliving earlier today. "It's not alarming ... There's been no setbacks. Everything's been going, actually, quite well."
Uh... no setback?
He was supposed to be back in the lineup a week ago. He's been day to day for nearly three weeks now...
