Is there anything the guy can do when it comes to hockey?
Frank Seravalli is known as one of the NHL’s top insiders, but he is now looking to expand his expertise behind a bench. It has been revealed that Seravalli has been named as the next head coach of Germantown Academy High School in Pennsylvania.
“That’s where my love for hockey began and those memories remain a powerful source of inspiration.”
Seravalli, who is a Philadelphia native, last played with Gladiators Legion 13U AAA in 2001-02, suiting up for 17 games. While he has been with Daily Face-off since 2021 after previously working for TSN, Seravalli is now heading back home to coach his own players.
The move has surprised many fans and pundits out there.
However, Seravalli had hinted at some changes coming in his professional life when he recently posted that he was looking to move on from hockey coverage and Daily Face-off in the near future.
We are now finding out where as Seravalli is taking on a key role much closer to home.
I guess we will find out soon enough into the upcoming season if Seravalli is as good behaved a bench as he is an an insider.
