NHL Insider: Red Wings and Canucks warned by the NHL

Not only did Detroit Red Wings defenseman Jake Walman bury the game-winning goal Saturday afternoon against the Vancouver Canucks, but he became the first player in Red Wings history to net a penalty shot in overtime. And naturally, Walman had to break out what has become his signature celebration, the dance move known as the "Griddy".
It was the third time that Walman celebrated with the fun dance moves, all of which have come after he's tallied overtime-winning goals. But could the Canucks have some revenge on their minds as the Red Wings prepare to battle them once again but on Vancouver's home ice?
There was a notable measure of vengeance taken this past weekend, as Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Morgan Rielly took extreme exception to Ottawa Senators forward Ridly Greig's slap shot into the empty net late in the 3rd period; he's facing a multi-game suspension.
During the latest "32 Thoughts" podcast, NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman hinted to Jeff Marek that the Canucks could be eying getting back at Walman for the celebration.
Marek: "Do you know anyone that is considering the Canucks soft for not reacting to Walman?"
Friedman: "I have no doubt there were people who said that they should have done something about that or next time they play they should do something about that."
However, Friedman then opined that the NHL could send a warning to both teams in the wake of the Rielly-Greig incident that attempting to get back at Walman won't be tolerated.
The Red Wings and Canucks will take on one another for the second time this month on Thursday night from Rogers Arena. Will you be surprised to see any attempts at getting back at Walman by the Canucks despite an alleged warning from the NHL?
