NHL insider suggests Therrien may have lied about former team!

Former Montreal Canadiens head coach Michel Therrien revealed some surprising news on TSN 690 radio, on Friday, stating that he was becoming a scout for the club that fired him back in February.

However, NHL insider Renaud Lavoie, from TVA Sports, reported important details that clarify Therrien's position and reveals the truth about the association between the former head coach and his last employers. According to Lavoie, Therrien "is not a permanent scout for the team." He added that "if GM Marc Bergevin needs him, he will give him a call."

In the meantime, Therrien will go see some games in Florida during the winter, to keep his head in the game.
