In case you missed it, the NBA has effectively shut down today after multiple teams have elected to protest in light of recent events in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

The NHL issued a statement via Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly after the Milwauke Bucks and other teams refused to take the court of tonight's game. In it Daly says that the NHL does not expect the league to initiate a stoppage, but that the players have the right to express themselves.

Check it out:

"I don’t expect the League to initiate a game stoppage. Obviously, our Players are free to express themselves in any manner they feel is appropriate."
