New York Islanders legendary winger Mike Bossy is now very active in different media outlets in Montreal. He once again took the microphone on Thursday to chat about the National Hockey League and his comments might worry fans.
According to Bossy, who spoke on the air on Montreal radio 91.9 Sports, one NHL general manager is already under the gun. Some might think Colorado Avalanche GM Joe Sakic or Detroit Red Wings GM Ken Holland might be the names he revealed, but Bossy offered a different candidate for a general manager already on the hot seat.
"Not too far on the list of GMs under pressure, is Marc Bergevin," he stated, translated from French. The Montreal Canadiens GM has been criticized for his offseason moves, especially his inability to re-sign forward Alexander Radulov and defenseman Andrei Markov.
He was able to complete a transaction to bring young forward Jonathan Drouin to Montreal, but fans in the city fear it might not be enough to push the Habs' offense.
What do you think? Does Bergevin deserve to already be on the hot seat?
