NHL legend says 23-year-old player does not want to play for NHL franchise!

Harsh words coming out of National Hockey League legend Mike Bossy, Tuesday, on the air of a Montreal-based radio station, 91,9 Sports. When asked to comment on the Montreal Canadiens' performance on Monday's first preseason game of the team, Bossy did not hold back while criticizing forward Alex Galchenyuk

"We can really ask the following question: does Galchenyuk still want to play for the Canadiens!?" Bossy commented, translated from French, on the air.

Bossy added that Galchenyuk has a lot of potential, but does not know if the 23-year-old player can reach it. He also said that what matters in a game is the effort you put into it, and the respect you have towards the fans.

"I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for a few days, but Galchenyuk was bad on Monday," he said, translated from French.

Bossy also hinted that Habs GM Marc Bergevin could once again look to trade Galchenyuk, but that if the forward continues to behave that way and play mediocre hockey, his value on the market will diminish.

Let's hope Galchenyuk changes his attitude before the start of the season and can prove Bossy wrong in the end.
