NHL Network fails miserably in ranking the top 10 goalies

Let's face it, the NHL Network, despite being the "official" network of the NHL itself, is absolutely awful at analyzing the game of hockey. Ironic, isn't it?

The NHL Network regularly releases their rankings of the top 10 goalies, centers, wingers, defensemen, etc. and the lists are almost always laughably bad. Remember a few years back when they neglected to include Norris Trophy winning defenseman Mark Giordano in their top 10 defensemen list? Well... they're back at it again.

In ranking the top 10 goalies in the NHL, the NHL Network neglects to include guys like John Gibson, Carter Hart, Frederik Andersen and Marc Andre Fleury. Curiously on the list though are guys like Jordan Binnington, Darcy Kuemper and Anton Khudobin.

Look... I'm not the biggest Montreal Canadiens fan in the world but anyone who thinks Jordan Binnington is a better goaltender than Carey Price is just flat out wrong. There's no argument, really...

And listen... I love Anton Khudobin as much as anybody out there, but he's not a top 10 goalie in the NHL. Period. I'd argue that Carter Hart and John Gibson should both be ahead of about three or four guys on this list. At this point I'm beginning to wonder if the NHL Network puts together these lists just as a way to rile people up online?
