NHL officials save Johns after he gets a beatdown from McLeod.

This wasn't a very tough fight to call. 

On Thursday night 25-year-old Dallas Stars defenseman Stephen Johns had to be saved by the National Hockey League officials on the ice because at no point was he really in the fight against Nashville Predators veteran forward Cody McLeod.

McLeod had a firm grasp on Johns' jersey and was feeding him both left and right hands to the face over and over with Johns never really having an answer for any of the punishment McLeod was dishing out.

Thankfully the NHL officials saw the same thing we did and put an end to the one-sided beating.
