NHL officials wave off a goal after the puck is already in the net.

What the hell is this nonsense?

There wasn't any interference, in fact there wasn't even a player close to the goaltender, but somehow, some way, National Hockey League officials found a way to wave off this goal.

Fans in New Jersey are likely furious tonight after they clearly witnessed a puck go into the Columbus net, followed by a whistle well after the puck had crossed the goal line, and somehow saw their team denied a goal.

Devils forward Joseph Blandisi was clearly outraged at the call and quickly headed over to officials to give them an earful but it was to no avail, the referees refused to admit they had made a bogus call, and the goal was denied.

To make matters worse Columbus would score just a few minutes later.
