Tom Gaglardi the owner of the Dallas Stars is apparently not happy with his return on investment after dropping some big money to improve his team over the offseason. Gaglardi spoke to Rick Gosselin of the Dallas Morning News and didn't hold back, go
"The assimilation of Spezza and Hemsky was supposed to make our team better than last year. You've seen glimpses of it lately. But both of those guys are behind where they expect to be. Overall, I think there are too many players that have had poor years."The good news for Gaglardi is his team has shown improvement as the season has moved along, and although he's upset with the overall performance of his team Gaglardi knows it.
"We're really not too far off where we were 12 months ago, and we made the playoffs," he said. "I can see this team making the playoffs. We did it last year. This is a group that knows how to play, how to get there. We're explosive. I'm optimistic."His team isn't just good now, they have one of the best yougn players in the NHL in Tyler Seguin, someone they can expect to be a star in the league for years to come. Gaglardi however has made it clear he's willing to spend money, but he wants to win now.
