NHL Player Safety makes the WILDEST decisions sometimes! How does this make any sense?
This just in, NHL Player Safety has fined Edmonton Oilers defenseman Jake Walman $10,000 for instigating a water fight in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final last night.
Well... kinda.
Walman was fined $5,000 for roughing Florida Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk and another $5,000 for spraying the Panthers' bench with a water bottle.
Seriously...
Check it out:
And here's the "infraction" in question...
I think we should all take a moment to thank NHL Player Safety director George Parros for protecting the Panthers from over hydration...
Good grief.
Out of all the things that happened in last night's slug fest THIS is what Parros and NHL Player Safety decide to act on?
