According to a report from TSN hockey insider Frank Seravalli, members of the Montreal Canadiens have been prohibited from training together at the team's facilities just outside Montreal, Quebec.

As Seravalli points out, nearly half of the NHL's training facilities are now open but it's unclear exactly when training camps will formally open.

If you're a member of one of the teams who did not participate in the NHL's return to play earlier this year though, you have to REALLY be jonesing to get some work in. After all, it's been well over half a year since the Detroit Red Wings, Ottawa Senators, Buffalo Sabres, New Jersey Devils, San Jose Sharks, Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks have even been on the ice. If these teams are expected to ice competitive teams in the 2021 season, they'll need some runway to put together a proper training camp.
