NHL postpones a game for the first time in months
Oh no! I'm getting flashbacks to 2020-2021!
HockeyFeed
The NHL has officially postponed tomorrow's scheduled game between the Winnipeg Jets and Seattle Kraken due to blizzard conditions in the Winnipeg area.
The NHL hasn't postponed a game in months, but obviously under very different circumstances. Surely, we all remember the entire slew of postponed and outright cancelled games in the 2020-21 season due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This time around it's just good old fashioned Mother Nature making things tough on the NHL. Which, I think we'll all agree, is much preferred to a global pandemic.
Here's hoping that everyone in Winnipeg and the surrounding areas can get to a safe, warm place to ride things out.
