Montreal Canadiens captain Nick Suzuki wasn’t happy after his 9-5 loss at the hands of the Florida Panthers on Thursday night. And Friday’s news won’t make him any happier.
Suzuki has been fined $2,500 for Cross-checking Florida’s Anton Lundell on Friday.
The game ended with Suzuki being ejected for cross-checking, but there is very little footage of the actual incident seeing that it happened behind the play.
The game ended on that sour note and Suzuki made it clear he was unhappy with the call in his presser following the loss.
At least the Canadiens aren’t losing him to a suspension, which would have been a bitter pill to swallow.
