NHL releases Stanley Cup Final schedule and fans are furious.

NHL fans are not happy after the NHL has announced another very late Stanley Cup Final.

The National Hockey League will once again be playing hockey well into the summer months, much to the chagrin of hockey fans who seem to largely believe that the season should be wrapped up well before the warmer months of the year.

Unfortunately fans aren't getting what they want with the NHL releasing it's schedule for the Stanley Cup Final last week, a schedule that will carry the Cup Final nearly into the month of July should it require all 7 games.

We of course do not know who will be participating in the Final, with the Dallas Stars and Edmonton Oilers all tied up in the Western Conference Final and the New York Rangers and Florida Panthers all tied up in the Eastern Conference Final, but the schedule will remain the same regardless of which teams do advance.

Here is a look at how the schedule will break down for each of the 7 games:

Game 1 - June 8
Game 2 - June 10
Game 3 - June 13
Game 4 - June 15
Game 5* - June 18
Game 6* - June 21
Game 7* - June 24

Games marked with an * will only be played if neccessary.

What do you think of another very late Stanley Cup Final? Do you hate it? Are you in favor? Or are you perhaps entirely indifferent? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
