NHL rookie loses $2 million dollar bonus in absolutely brutal fashion.
This sucks.

National Hockey League rookie Jack Eichel is likely extremely disappointed right now.
The young Buffalo Sabres forward was well on his way to earning himself a whopping $2 million dollar bonus, one that many would argue he had earned after producing 24 goals and 33 assists for 57 points in 61 games, but a big night from Edmonton Oilers forward Leon Draisaitl burst that bubble.
Recording two points in his final game of the NHL season Draisaitl moved passed Eichel for 10th place in points per game this season, and by falling out of the top 10 Eichel was denied his bonus. To make matters worse, according to Cap Friendly Draisaitl officially passes him by just 0.01 points per game, truly heartbreaking for Eichel.
