NHL set to postpone many games ahead of holiday break!

There is a sense that the National Hockey League will be forced to postpone one game this week.

According to insider Frank Seravalli of Daily Face-Off, the NHL is likely to postpone the game between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Sabres in Buffalo on Friday night with impending winter storm.

Seravalli adds that it may not be the only game on the slate postponed - aside from safety issue for fans, the league does not want teams being stranded for holidays.

It’s been reported that a major winter storm could make a mess of the holiday travel season. And that includes travel for games ahead of the Christmas break.

The expected storm will arrive from the U.S. Midwest and will rapidly deepen over the Great Lakes on Friday and early Saturday — Christmas Eve.
