Walshy strikes again!

NHL super agent Alan Walsh has never been one to keep his thoughts to himself.

You may recall that Walsh made headlines across the sporting world a couple years ago when he called out Vegas Golden Knights head coach Peter DeBoer in a... well an pretty ridiculous graphic that showed goaltender Marc Andre Fleury (a client on Walsh's) with a sword in his back that read "DeBoer".

Remember this?

Not exactly the most subtle message but, it certainly got the point across.

To be frank, this is just one example of Walsh using social media to defend his client's and today we were served up another classic Walshy moment when Walsh personally called out a Montreal based reported who claimed that Montreal Canadiens forward Jonathan Drouin (a Walsh client, of course) got into a war of words with Habs head coach Dominique Ducharme.

RDS reporter Patrick Friolet shared a video from Habs practice that showed Drouin and Ducharme talking at practice with the caption (translated from French):

Lively discussion at the end of training between Jonathan Drouin and Dominique Ducharme.

Jonathan didn't seem happy at all.

- Patrick Friolet

To which Walsh replied:

You obviously know nothing about hockey. This is a normal conversation between a player and coach, a discussion that takes place between players and coaches every practice. Just a pathetic attempt at stirring the pot. You’re a disgrace.

- Alan Walsh

Here's the entire exchange:

For what it's worth, Friolet replied directly to Walsh saying:

In no way was this my intention. Not at all. I explained the context and will make sure to mention it is about the passion Jonathan shows for the game. The coach explained it and I will do the same.

- Patrick Friolet

Wow... tell me how you really feel, Walshy!

In my opinion, I don't really have an issue with what Friolet reported. To me, it looks like just a player and a coach having a discussion on the ice like we've seen a thousand times before and Friolet is only reporting on it. I understand that Walsh is simply going to bat for his client, but calling someone a disgrace is a tad much. Eat a Snickers bar, Walshy...
