It’s been a particularly brutal summer for residents of British Columbia. Canada’s western-most province is mostly known for its record levels of rainfall, but it has received barely any precipitation since May and, as a result, is experiencing the worst forest fires in decades. Much of the province is ablaze and the smoke blankets the entire province. Families have been lost everything and irreparable damage has been done to the province’s communities.
Kudos to BC native and Nashville Predators superstar Ryan Johansen who has stepped up to help the communities with a truly unique fundraiser in his hometown of Port Coquitlam.

How awesome is that? If there’s anything we love more than a cold beer, it’s helping those in need. Kudos again to you, Ryan for stepping up to help out your local community.
