Late last night an armed gunman stormed the Mandalay Bay Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada and opened fire on unsuspecting and unarmed concert goers killing 50 people and injuring an estimated 400 in the process. The shooter, 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, was gunned down by police but not before he managed to carry out the worst mass shooting in US history. It's a senseless tragedy that has rocked the Vegas, the nation and, by association, the hockey world.
Several prominent NHLers took to social media last night with an outpouring of emotion about the tragic events.
More to come on this developing story. RIP.
