Here are the NHL's  latest rumors! Carolina GM Ron Francis doesn't want to trade Eric Staal, but the Maple Leafs could offer Nazem Kadri and Jake Gardiner for the big center... Speaking of the Hurricanes, it looks like they will buy out Alexander Semin's contract after this season. He will probably go back to Russia... The Buffalo Sabres didn't want Sam Reinhart to be in a losing environment, so they sent him back to the WHL. They would love to have him paired with Connor McDavid... The Montreal Canadiens tried to move Rene Bourque last year, but could not find any takers, even with his good sequence in the playoffs. Putting Bourque on waivers was a way to make sure Jiri Sekac and Michael Bournival have more ice-time...
