Nikita Kucherov loses tooth and leaves game, but comes back looking for it!
The Lightning’s superstar had quite the night against the Penguins, but did lose something in the process. Watch below:
For a third straight season, Tampa Bay Lightning star forward Nikita Kucherov has hit the 100-point mark. On Tuesday night in a crushing 6-1 win over the visiting Pittsburgh Penguins, Kucherov collected two first-period assists to reach the 100-point mark for the fifth time in his career, and ended the night with a goal and a those two apples.
Plus a missing tooth.
Cameras caught Kuchevov getting hit close to Pens goalie Alex Nedeljkovic, slamming his head against the netminder’s mask. The Russian forward left the game for some repairs as he appeared to lose a tooth on the play.
He later returned and went looking for said tooth but to no avail.

I’m sure Kuchevov will have no problem paying for the repairs at the dentist, but it’s still funny to see a millionaire almost down on his knees looking for his missing tooth.
I bet the pain and the disappointment of being without the tooth were quickly overshadowed by the Lightning’s commanding 6-1 over the Penguins.
