The Leafs' captain has left the game with an injury.
This just in, Toronto Maple Leafs captain Auston Matthews has left his team's game against the Boston Bruins after suffering an apparent injury.
Matthews was hit from behind by Bruins defenseman Nikita Zadorov forcing him to fall awkwardly into the sideboards. He appeared to jam his hand or wrist, but it's unclear.
